Dr RudraMurthy, is a Chevening Fellow, an Information Technology and Cyber Security evangelist with over decade and half diversified global leadership experience in strategizing, architecting and executing Information Technology and Cyber Security services. He has been instrumental in developing Indian Cyber Security and Cybercrime prevention community. Currently he is Chief Information Security Officer(CISO) for Ministry of Home Affairs under Digital India program, in this position he is responsible for developing, budgeting, implementing and operating National Emergency Response System(NERS-112), Cyber Crime Prevention against Women and Children(CCPWC), Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre(I4C) programs.

Dr RudraMurthy in the past he has held CISO position for India’s prestigious e-Governance program UIDAI (Unique Identity Authority of India), Where he was responsible to establish Cyber Security practices from the scratch for the world’s largest Biometric database. He has also held positions of multi practice delivery head, Sr principal consultant, program manager for various programs across the globe. He has proven leadership skills in management of large teams, complex programs, and customer portfolio across Government, Telecom, IT and BSFI industry segments.

Dr RudraMurthy is frequent speaker in international forums on Cyber Security and Cybercrime. He also serves as Advisor to iSMG, IDG. He has been awarded Magnificent CISO for the year 2016, He played instrumental role in achieving “best e-Governance project in the country for the year 2013 and 2014 by NASSCAM-DSCI for UIDAI. He holds MS in Computers and pursuing his Doctorate and Fellowship, he also holds industry certifications like CISM, ACC, ITIL, MCSE. He spends his time in training dogs, cycling, photography.
