Dr. T. B. (Mac) McClelland, Jr. resides in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Mac holds several accredited degrees; a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina; a Master of Arts (MA) in Human Resources Management from Pepperdine University; a Master of Arts (MA) in International Policies Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies; and a Doctorate of Management (DM) in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix School of Advanced Studies.
Dr. Mac is a Professor at the Dubai campus of Hult International Business School, approved to teach business, management, energy, and luxury marketing courses. He also facilitates the capstone Action Project course for Executive MBA and Master of International Business students.
With 40 years’ experience in the Middle East, Dr. Mac is President and CEO of Center House Ltd., a consulting firm helping companies in the Middle East, Africa, and Far East, in business development, government relations, and marketing. He is also the President and CEO of The Luxury Marketing Council (Middle East), a by-invitation-only professional association of luxury brands that market products and services to high net worth individuals. Dr. Mac appears regularly on CNBC’s Squawk Box, he has been featured in The Wall Street Journal discussing issues affecting US companies abroad, and he has been an expert witness before the U.S. Congress on similar subjects. A retired U.S. Marine Corps officer and private pilot, he is a member of Mensa, Rotary International, and the Chaine des Rotisseurs.
