KBW Investments, which was founded and is chaired by Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal of Saudi Arabia, has recently partnered with Ascorel Group, a French technology company, to launch Ascorel Middle East. Ascorel specialises in technology designed to enhance the safety and control of civil engineering machines, lifting equipment and firefighting equipment. Its products include onboard weighing, anti-collision, sensor and remote controls, safe load indicators and OEM. The company’s Middle Eastern branch will facilitate the sale and distribution of Ascorel’s technology to the regional market.
The agreement was signed by the President of Ascorel Group, Francis-Pierre Lemahieu, and the group CEO of KBW Investments, Ahmed Alkhoshaibi.
Commenting on the partnership, Ascorel and Ascotronics Group CEO Jean-Yves Billion said “Ascorel’s range of products, services and after-sale attention will now be made available to the MENA region through the establishment of Ascorel Middle East. The partnership with KBW Investments will allow for greater international reach and market penetration, given the company’s strong regional foothold and diverse presence in the construction and manufacturing sectors.”
This key partnership between a Dubai based investment firm and a European technology company has highlighted the growing trend of Middle Eastern investors seeking high-potential tech investment opportunities in Europe.
