WHAT HAPPENED

Held under the theme of “The Butterfly Effect: From Intent to Impact”, last year’s edition brought together more than 700 global business leaders, policy-makers, entrepreneurs, NGOs, artists and youth, to champion diversity across the board as a cornerstone of economic development.

Held under the patronage of and opened by H.E. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE Minister of Economy, it shed light on the importance of diversity as a key economic driver, and recognised exceptional individuals and organisations for their commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion.

As awareness in the region has matured, there is an increasing recognition that diversity is not just about gender – which is why last years program placed a particular emphasis on the inclusion of people with disabilities, through the launch of our Inclusive Internship Programme.
