With over 20 years of industry expertise, including over a decade in senior management roles, Alma Au Yeung is the Corporate Director – Strategic Projects and Partnerships of Emaar Hospitality Group, with overall charge in driving the Group’s strategic partnership with Expo 2020 Dubai as its Official Hotel & Hospitality Partner.

In addition to leading the Group team to deliver on its mandate as the Official Hotel & Hospitality Partner, Alma will be involved in planning, managing and executing numerous private clubs and catering sites within the Expo 2020 Dubai site. She will develop strategic plans to drive incremental business growth prior to and during the much-anticipated global event by selling rooms, events and F&B.

Alma will also focus on the guiding spirit of Expo 2020 Dubai – ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’ – and its three sub-themes, Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability to build new strategic partnerships, market awareness and business opportunities.

Alma was previously Group Director of Lifestyle Events, Sponsorship & Partnership at Emaar Hospitality Group. She was responsible for the development, planning and management of the Group’s varied lifestyle events and ensuring that the highest standards are upheld.

Alma was one the first employees in Emaar’s events department, and has been associated with all key project launches. She has played a pivotal role in the international expansion of the business and has been involved right from the design stage for organising events for new hotel openings.

Alma has also been an integral part of the Emaar Properties team, collaborating on diverse projects including the opening of Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Fountain and The Dubai Mall. Among other prestigious events she has been part of include the New Year’s Eve Gala in Downtown Dubai, the Ramadan projects at Emaar and the Vogue Dubai Fashion Experience held in The Dubai Mall.

Previously, she has worked on several significant hospitality ventures with prominent global hotel brands in Asia and UAE.

Alma was ranked 3rd in the top 25 influential women hoteliers in Middle East 2019.

An expert of financial services innovation, Nvalaye is currently leading Barclays’ digital transformation in Africa (ex South Africa). He joined the bank 2015 as Group Head of open innovation and was instrumental in setting up RISE, Barclays innovation center in Cape Town, South Africa. 

Prior to joining Barclays, Nvalaye was Africa Head of Digital at Standard Chartered Bank before becoming the Global Lead for Online and mobile banking transformation in Singapore. He previously spent several years in marketing and operations with Citigroup in New York and The Coca-Cola Company in Africa.

Diana Kangwa-Muya, was appointed as Chief Operating Officer for Zanaco on 3rd April 2017. Diana has a wealth of experience in Information Technology and Operations Management. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Zambia, a Master’s Degree in Communication & Information Systems from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in China and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Copperbelt University.

Prior to joining Zanaco, Diana held various senior positions at Zambia Telecommunications Company (Zamtel), Standard Chartered and Cavmont banks respectively.

Lanre Bamisebi takes a vision and makes it a reality through sound strategy development and execution. An expert in Big data, collaboration, ML and Artificial Intelligence. Currently, as Head IT Services and CIO at Diamond bank, a retail banking company. He fosters innovation, setting up various innovation hubs, making innovation a way of life in Information Technology. 
 
Previously, as CIO UBAGroup overseeing 25 countries. He led the innovation and strategy of the bank, developed a Big data strategy and setup a very robust Enterprise service bus. 
 
He spent four (4) years in MTN and was part of the pioneer IT staff that set up the enterprise architecture and data centre of MTN. Lanre has also worked in the Oil and gas, technology and Consulting sectors. 
 
Lanre holds an MBA from the University of Durham, a B.sc Accounting from the Ogun state University and a B.Sc.. (Honours) in Computing and Information Technologies from University of Derby United Kingdom, He is a six sigma blackbelt, Lead ISO Auditor, PMP and Prince 2 Certified, amongst other certifications. 
 
He is a pioneer member of the TEEP, Tony Elumelu Foundation, an adaptor of the Nigerian IT Incubator and a member of several other IT and personnel development voluntary services

His other prior experiences include a 16-year tenure with Dimension Data group, where he held various executive roles across Africa, Europe, UK and the Middle East.
