Oualae has over 17 years of experience in Health care and industry in numerous in-country or regional roles.
She is currently leading Pfizer Innovative health across Egypt, Levant, Iraq and Iran markets. Prior to that, Oualae played in instrumental role in establishing Pfizer Oncology Organization in Africa-Middle East to become a fast growing unit, recognized by the Oncology community as a key Player in the region.
Oualae has special interest in women in leadership and is playing a very active role in leading the efforts within Pfizer to promote diversity in the region and position it as the best working place for women in the industry.
Oualae joined Pfizer in 2004, coming from Novartis. She assumed several marketing and leadership roles within the primary care and Specialty unit at local and regional levels.
Oualae gained her initial experience in health care in France, as a family and pharmacovigilance pharmacist, before joining the pharmaceutical industry in 2000.
Oualae holds a doctorate in Pharmacy from Paris XI University and has a Master in Business, Management and health economics from ESSEC, Paris, France.
