Kate is known internationally for her commitment to fixing healthcare through innovation and ecosystem thinking coupled with leadership development. Kate is a management consultant at Deloitte and focuses on promoting precision medicine, advancing Veterans health, and developing the next generation of global healthcare leaders. In the last two years, Kate: 1) Organized the first US Veterans Affairs Clinical Trials Summit, hosting 80+ stakeholders across Veterans Health Administration leadership, Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, and pharmaceutical companies to bring innovative cures to Veterans, 2) Served on a task force alongside Harvard Medical School leadership focused on creating medical student debt financing strategies, 3) Was named a Becker’s Healthcare Rising Star Under 40 in 2017 & 18 and nominated as a Crain’s Notable Woman in Healthcare.  Kate has been with Deloitte for almost 7 years. As a Chief of Staff for Deloitte’s US healthcare practice for 5 years, she managed practice strategy and operations, supporting the success of 600 employees within a $1.5B Life Sciences & Health Care consulting practice.  She has also focused extensively on value-based drug and medical device pricing and supply chain enterprise resource planning.  Kate began her career at TAP Global R&D, Inc. and subsequent roles at Baxter Healthcare Corp., Takeda Global R&D, Inc., Washington University School of Medicine, and the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians helped her hone her unique approach to problem solving.  Kate was president of the American College of Healthcare Executives Chicago chapter for 3 years, before age 30. Kate lived in Japan for 5 years and has traveled extensively throughout Asia and Europe. Kate enjoys travel, writing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
