Overall Objectives

To coordinate the activities of internal and external accountants, to develop the operations carried out by the finance team, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Tasks Assigned

Perform general accounting functions, including operation of the general ledger system, journal entries, and month-end close work

Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues, expenses, and any significant fluctuations in Ledger accounts

Responsible for account reconciliations that include multi currency inter-company accounts, accounts asset and liability accounts to ensure accuracy of account balances

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare monthly financial management reports and yearly financial statements

Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close

Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures

Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

Monitor and support taxation issues (France, UK, India)

Develop and maintain accounting system and financial databases

Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process

Assist with the supervision, training, review and development of the accounting team

Perform other duties as assigned
