What we do
What we do
naseba produces, promotes and hosts ‘deal flow’ platforms in the liquid growth markets.
We operate across 6 sectors: healthcare, IT and telecoms, energy, real estate, hospitality, and natural resources.
Our platforms include business-to-business summits, leadership forums, capital raising meetings and executive training programs.
Our business summits connect pre-screened purchasing decision makers with pre-qualified global solution providers to do business.
Our leadership forums unite influential business experts through an interactive conference, educational workshops and networking activities designed to create business opportunities.
Our division Naru Capital. offers capital introduction meetings and investor roadshows providing pre-qualified business cases with targeted introductions to pre-screened investors.
Our MIH Training Academy offers a wide range of executive courses covering a variety of key disciplines, and are held in-house or at a number of 5-star venues.
Whether your objective is raising capital, sourcing a strategic partner, shortening your sales cycle, entering a new market or executive re-education – each platform is designed to help you achieve.
naseba was founded in 2002 in France by C.Scott Ragsdale, Sophie Le Ray, Fabien Faure and Nicholas Watson.
The company strategically expanded as soon as 2004 by opening an office in Dubai, followed by another one in Bangalore in 2005.
Over the years, the international expansion continued with temporary offices opened throughout Asia, Africa & Europe to better penetrate these markets, while focusing on expanding naseba’s two main product lines – summits & forums.
In 2009, naseba started leveraging the network and know-how acquired over the years to diversify its portfolio of offerings. The MIH Academy was launched to provide executive courses and trainings.
Then in 2011, Naru Capital. was initiated in order to cater to our investor clients.
In 2012, naseba launched its first event on the American continent – in Chile. Two years later, the company opened an office in Chicago to focus on the North & South American markets.
Today the company runs four divisions, operated from 3 main offices in Dubai, Bangalore and Chicago, and 4 representative offices in Algiers, Jeddah, Kualu Lumpur and Shanghai.
naseba group was founded in 2002 with the goal of becoming the ultimate deal facilitator in the emerging & growth markets.
Our name is taken from the Japanese idiomatic expression “naseba- naru” translated, “when there is a will, there is a way.”
“naseba” can literally be translated by “If you make it…”
“Naru” is the Japanese verb “to become.”
The secret to our success is our corporate culture; understanding that “the man at the top of the mountain did not fall there”.
I am from the ‘old school’ when values like loyalty, work ethic and being a person of honour truly meant something to people.
Back in the days when determination, commitment and focus were not just concepts, but qualities applied with consistency every single day.
Unfortunately, these values have been diluted or lost in today’s world, but not at naseba group — they are ingrained in our philosophy.
Every employee is challenged to do their job as honorably and focused as possible.
Mediocrity is not accepted.
And the mountain plays a big part in our identity.
Everyone wants to summit the proverbial mountain, but reaching the top takes commitment, determination, drive, and focus.
No one stumbles to the top of anything.
